Home-made Egg Noodles

Home-made goodness! These go great in a chicken noodle soup. The BEST thing about this recipe is that it is drop dead simple. Right up my alley. Any one can make them. They do wonders in bulking up any type of soup, and on a budget.

If I lived on a farm with chickens and the economy were to tank and grocery stores ceased to be this is the one product I would be able to make without difficulty. Adding this to my (very short) list of survival skills.

Home-made Egg Noodles

  • 2 eggs - beaten
  • 2 tbsp. milk
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • Flour
Mix first 3 ingredients together. Then add enough flour to make dough just stiff. Roll out on floured board. Cut into strips. Let dry. Add to soup.

Sweet simplicity!
